Set Your Style Foundation
Our signature experience is perfect for new clients looking to set a style foundation. Working with BU Style is a long-term investment in yourself, and this package lays the groundwork for you and your style strategist to get intentional about how you can support yourself holistically through your wardrobe choices and personal style brand. Once you book, this collaborative package lasts up to 90 days.

How Strategize, Shop, Style Works
Kickoff
Before your first session, we’ll set you up with all of your BU Style resources and have you begin to share your style needs and goals. If you are new BU Style, you will be invited via email to take our BU Style Six™ assessment.
Strategize
While reviewing your wardrobe for the current season, your stylist will determine which items to keep, discard, or tailor. In addition to fit and color, your personal stylist will consider personality, lifestyle, and style goals when evaluating your wardrobe.
Our goal is to ensure the pieces in your wardrobe fit you and your style goals, send the message you want, and make you feel great! From this session, your Style Strategist will create your Strategic Shopping List (or SSL, as we like to call it).

Shop Process:
Using your SSL as the roadmap, your style strategist will guide you through the shop process, which includes the initial Foundation Shop and a virtual Refine Shop, if needed.
The Foundation Shop session may be arranged as . . .
a department store shop,
stops at various specialty stores or boutiques in one area, or
online finds.
You and your style strategist will agree on the plan together based on your style brand, specific needs, and budget.

During this first shop, a bulk of your season’s wardrobe needs will be purchased. Your style strategist will pre-shop retailers for you based on personality, silhouette goals, budget, and lifestyle, selecting pieces that work coherently with your existing wardrobe and enhance your style brand.
All you have to do is try on expertly pre-selected pieces that meet your specific needs!

After your first session’s progress, there may be a few remaining gaps from your Strategic Shopping List. For these, your style strategist will source up to 10 refreshed online recommendations within the original Strategic Shopping List categories.
The Virtual Refine Shop will troubleshoot sizing, fit, style and/or inventory challenges from your Foundation Shop. The recommendations will be pinned to your Virtual Finds, where you are responsible for purchasing and returning all online orders to have ready for your Style session.

Your Strategize, Shop, Style Deliverables
Following each session, your stylist strategist will update your Virtual Wardrobe. Your deliverables will contain the following:
Wardrobe purchases will be added to your Virtual Closet.
Styled looks will be uploaded to your Virtual Lookbook.
You will be able to access your Virtual Wardrobe directly from your computer or smartphone homescreen. Lifetime access is included
*The noted hours are specifically the client’s time investment. Also included in the package price is your style strategist’s prep and follow-up time, including research, pre-shopping, coordination with retailers, Virtual Wardrobe updates, and more.
Note: Out-of-Town Travel Fee of $150/round trip applies to clients outside of NYC MTA or PATH

Buy only when you are ready. All virtual and in-person services are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. See our refund policy.

Schedule
Following check out, your emailed receipt will contain a scheduling link and a unique “certificate code” to keep track of your package appointments.

We serve all clients within walking distance of the New York MTA subway system or PATH trains. Select stylists serve clients in the Tri-state area. For those clients, there is an additional fee of $150 per roundtrip.

We believe fashion should be accessible to all and style is deeply individual. We provide corporate style consulting as well as personal client shopping and styling services for men, women, and non-binary individuals in New York City and virtually.

Making wise purchases starts with a plan. We call it a Strategic Shopping List (SSL). It is a very specific list of your wardrobe needs agreed upon by you and your Style Strategist.
Your SSL guides your Style Strategist in connecting you with retailers offering brands, styles, price points, sizes, and colors that best fit YOU.

A coredrobe are foundational pieces that can be layered and mixed to create a variety of outfits. There are no set rules or minimum quantities.

A memo is a try-on-at-home agreement between you (the buyer) and a retailer (the owner).
This shop option is coordinated by your Style Strategist and allows you to receive merchandise right to your door.
You only pay for what you keep and send the rest back within a certain timeframe.
